Texas is Nice

Today I went for a walk with my dog. It has been in the 70's and 80's here; super nice. The sun was shining, there was a light breeze, and I even found a lady bug and a few flowers on our path. Just being outside and smelling the breeze makes Tana so happy that I couldn't help enjoying myself as well. Why can't I just do that more often?
I am so mad that I forgot my camera. The pics you see here were taken on my dad's iphone. The gate was photographed by my dad, but I did the editing. I just thought it was pretty and so typical of a lazy, sunny Texas afternoon. My parents just moved to a more urban area and, though I like it here, I miss my quiet walks in the countryside.
Tomorrow Chad and I depart with his family for "Red-Neck New Years" in Oklahoma. I have the perfect white elephant gift, hehe. It's like the one i found online pictured here, but tackier. It plays "Born to Be Wild".

Home for the Holidays

Well, folks, it's good to be rollin' around with my folks these days.
My dog, Montana (to the left), was stinkin' up the place though, so she got a bath the day after Christmas. Things are good here. I'm feeling pretty stressed though because I still haven't found a job (I graduated this semester). But, Chad and I will have lots of fun next semester since I won't have school and his classes will be easier.
So, lately I've been trying to convince Chad that what he really wants in life is a dog. You see, the only thing we really disagree on so far is animals. I love them and like having them around. Chad, well, tolerates them and likes them when they are outside. I've been barraging his inbox with pics of Labs, Newfoundlands, and Arctic breeds. I'm hoping their sweet puppy faces will be persuasive.
On a side note, never play Fallout. It's addictive. You'll hate yourself.
